Safeway and Shoppers Drug Mart have opened for business at The Plaza at New Westminster Station.
The third anchor, Landmark Cinemas, will house 10 movie screens over 40,000 SF of space. Landmark is scheduled to open in May, 2012.
Other tenants now open include Westland Insurance, CIBC, Subway, and A&W. New tenants are opening daily.
The Plaza is near completion and combines 200,000SF of retail space with 750 residential units, the New Westminster SkyTrain Station, and the New Westminster bus depot. This SkyTrain station sees over 250,000 people passing through per day, representing significant sales potential for all tenants.
Retail and professional office space is available for lease in the 600SF – 5,000SF range. There is an excellent 5,000SF restaurant opportunity available beside the new theatre.
Other uses of interest include optical, a barber, giftware, medical, and a dry cleaner.
