After the successful Canadian launch of David’s Bridal in Mississauga & Scarborough, Ontario, David’s Bridal has opened a second location in Toronto.

The US-based retailer offers competitive prices on bridal gowns, bridal party attire, special occasion dresses, reception items, and more.

David’s Bridal is seeking sites Canada-wide in the 7,000 – 10,000 SF range.

BC Liquor Stores Joins UBC's Wesbrook Village

Wesbrook Village "Mews"Sitings Realty has completed a deal with BC Liquor Stores for a 4,800 SF store at Wesbrook Village.

The Village as located at 16th and Wesbrook Mall at the South entrance to UBC, an intersection with over 20,000 vehicles, 24,000 transit passengers and 1,400 pedestrians each day.

At completion, approximately 25 retailers in over 70,000 SF of retail space will make Wesbrook Village not only the new town centre for UBC, but a neighbourhood shopping centre for Vancouver’s affluent Westside.

The Wesbrook Village neighbourhood will also feature 5.5 million SF of residential units and 20,000 SF of office space on site.

A new high school and community centre are also part of the Village. Thunderbird Stadium, Thunderbird Arena, and the UBC athletic complex are immediately North of the site.

New Westminster Station Seeking Tenants – New Westminster, BC

NYoutube Fly-Through Videoew Westminster Station will integrate 200,000 square feet of retail space with the New Westminster SkyTrain Station, the New Westminster Bus terminal, and three towers consisting of 750 residential units in an Urban Transit Village. Completion is scheduled for Fall 2011.

New Westminster has a trade area of 103,398 people and is expected to grow to 110,619 by the year 2012. In addition to the residents living on site, 250,000 people pass through this Skytrain station on average per week.

Retail space is available in the 600 SF – 10,000 SF range. Professional office space is available in the 600 SF – 1,100 SF range.

Sherwood Park is an affluent suburban community in Edmonton with an average household income of $137,339. With a 3% annual growth rate, Sherwood Park is expected to be home to 100,000 people by 2015.

Mucho Burrito Seeking BC Sites

Mucho Burrito Store Front Mucho Burrito Fresh Mexican Grill opened its doors this April on Davie Street and Burrard Street in downtown Vancouver. This is its first Vancouver location and second location in BC.

Mucho Burrito is a banner under the Extreme Group of companies. Other banners include Extreme Pita and PurBlenz Pure Fruit Smoothies. The restaurant offers a gourmet spin on Mexican cuisine using fresh ingredients, succulent slow-cooked meats, and daily-prepared salsas and guacamoles.

Openings are scheduled for 601 West Broadway in Vancouver (2, 160 SF), Langley, and Abbotsford in the coming months. Mucho Burrito is seeking BC locations from 1,680 -2,400 SF.

Michaels Deal Announcements


Michaels, the number one arts & crafts retailer in North America, will soon open its doors in Etobicoke, Ontario and Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

The Texas-based retailer’s new urban format stores have an improved look over the previous generation of stores. These urban stores, such as their new store on West Broadway in Vancouver, serve dense residential areas with strong daytime populations.

Micheals is seeking sites in Western Canada in the 17,500 SF-21,000 SF range. Currently there are over 1,000 Michaels locations across North America.

UBC's University Boulevard Site Leased to Scotiabank

The former RBC site at University Boulevard on the UBC Campus has been leased to Scotiabank. Sitings Realty handled the releasing of the unit for client UBC Properties Trust.

Millstream Village 100% Leased
