Canadian Tire Disposition Properties For Sale In British Columbia

Canadian TireSitings is pleased to be marketing two properties in the Lower Mainland owned by Canadian Tire – one in Burnaby and one in New Westminster.

Both sites were home to Canadian Tire, which merged into one large format store at Marine Way Marketplace in South Burnaby in late 2006.

5549 Kingsway is located in Burnaby on the north side of Kingway at MacPherson Avenue.

Neighbouring tenants include Safeway, London Drugs, and Real Canadian Wholesale Club.

21-8th Ave in New Westminster is located on the southwest corner of 8th Avenue and Colborne Street – one block off of McBride Blvd. The site is in close proximity to Safeway, BC Liquor Store, Rogers Video and Starbucks.

Both sites lend themselves well to commercial or residential developments.

The Burnaby site is currently under contract.

Sitings Realty Retained To Represent XS Cargo In Western Canada

XS CargoSitings Realty Ltd is pleased to have been retained by XS Cargo to handle XS Cargo’s expansion throughout Western Canada. XS Cargo opened its first store in Edmonton in 1996, and currently operates 30 stores in five provinces.

XS Cargo is one of the largest closeout retailers in Canada. XS Cargo’s merchandising philosophy is to offer “Nothing But Bargains” in its retail stores, by purchasing deeply discounted product and offering it to the consumer at low prices.

Stores require approximately 9,000 – 11,000 square feet in strong retail areas with easy ingress/egress and ample parking, and loading for a trailer truck. Watch for a new location opening in Kamloops early this year.

The Silhouette: Burnaby BC Ground Floor Retail 100% Pre Leased

The Silhouette is Ledingham McAllister’s new mixed use (residential/retail) project located on the south west corner of North Road and Cameron Street in Burnaby, BC.

Dan Clark is pleased to announce that he has 100% pre leased the main and lower level retail components of the development, which will be home to Save On Foods, Shoppers Drug Mart, BC Signature Liquor Store, Rogers Video, Tim Hortons, and the TD Bank.

Construction is due to commence within the next couple of months.

There is 50,000 square feet of high profile second floor space available for lease, which is zoned and suitable for both retail and/or office tenants.

New Tenants Join Millstream Village Langford, BC

Millstream VillageMillstream Village is Victoria’s newest open-air Shopping Centre, and is currently in the final phase of construction, with 150,000 square feet of retail already open for business.

The Shopping Centre is situated just off Highway 1 at the corner of Millstream Road and McCallum Road, easily accessible to Victoria and Nanaimo.

The following stores are already open: Michaels, Pier One, Golf Town, Mexx, Petsmart, Dollar Giant, Market on Millstream, Tommy Hilfiger, Aldo, Smart Set, La Vie en Rose, Stokes, Le Chateau, Additionelle, Ardene, Suzy Shier, Warehouse One, Money Mart, Shoe Company, Running Room, Wiink Salon, The Edge Computers, Alibaba Pizza and Serious Coffee.

Valhalla Pure Outfitters, Tom Lee Music, Milestones, A&B Sound, Subway, Rogers, Cobs Bread, BCAA, Nando’s Chicken and others are scheduled to open early this year.

Dan Clark is excited to announce that negotiations have been finalized with Everything Wine Inc. and they will be opening a 11,500 SF specialty wine store early this year.

There are still a few spaces available from 1,000-5,000 square feet.

Sitings Joins X Team Retail Services Network

XTeamSitings is pleased to announce that they have been selected as the Western Canadian representative for the X Team Retail Network.

Kingsgate Mall Resurgence

Marks, Kingsgate MallThe Kingsgate Mall has been transforming rapidly since the purchase of the Mall in 2006 by The Beedie Development Group.

The following new stores have recently opened in Kingsgate Mall: Shoppers Home Health Care, a newly expanded Mark’s Work Wearhouse and Shoppers Drug Mart. A new Reitmans store is scheduled to open in February 2007, and Payless is scheduled to do a full renovation in the first quarter of

2007.

Many Tenants are reporting year to year sales increases of 30% and greater.

Kingsgate Mall is a neighbourhood centre occupying the prominent intersection of Broadway and Kingsway in Vancouver, BC.

Spaces are available in the 1,000 – 4,000sf range.
