Sitings to Lease New Retail Development on Whistler Creekside’s Most Visible Corner

November 28, 2013

Sitings Realty is actively pursuing tenants to fill a rare retail opportunity on the most visible corner in Whistler Creekside.

The property is located on the corner of Highway 99 and London Lane just a stone’s throw from the base of Whistler Mountain. Highway 99 is the primary thoroughfare connecting Vancouver to Whistler, and passes through Creekside on the way to the Upper Village and Blackcomb Mountain.

This is a well-travelled area with direct highway access, with over 350 hotel units are located within a one block radius. The average daily population in Whistler is currently estimated at approximately 31,000 people running up to 70,000 people during peak times.

Upon completion the London Lane development will consist of a retail building with three retail units totalling approximately 3,750 square feet, and a surface parking lot with 16 stalls and direct turn access. The developer is London Lane Holdings.

“This is an extremely rare opportunity to obtain such a visible piece of commercial property in Whistler. This really is the most visible corner in Creekside, and with over 2.1 million tourists visits each year Whistler is a desirable market for many retailers,” says Stephen Knight of Sitings Realty. “We are pleased to make a positive impact on the Creekside neighbourhood by bringing in retailers that will provide value to the residents, businesses, and tourists in the area.”

Sitings Realty has successfully leased a number of shopping centres across Western Canada and represents over 30 national retail tenants.
