Noodlebox Unveils New Look & Feel

May 14, 2013

Noodlebox unveiled a brand new look and feel in March at its new location in Shelbourne, Victoria.

The fast-casual concept offers a selection of authentic southeast Asian dishes prepared fresh to order and served in a clean, vibrant and upbeat environment.

Noodlebox began as a food cart operation in Victoria and grew to seven locations across Victoria and Vancouver. In 2012 majority interest was acquired by Dave Neill and Derrick Westbrook who are business partners with extensive franchise and operational experience.  They opened this eighth location and are the brains behind the brand’s new look and feel.

“Noodlebox is all about the food. It is an energetic anti-chain chain that strives to be a natural part of the neighbourhood by getting involved in the local community and by using fresh, local ingredients. Whether it’s the Spicy Peanut dish or the trendy music, Noodlebox has a following of people who are exclusively devoted to it. Now that’s something to be a part of!” says Derrick Westbrook.

The restaurant has achieved a cult following among people of all ages and all walks of life.  “When you walk into Noodlebox, you see teenagers with skateboards, senior citizens, business people in suits, families with children – the customer mix is really remarkable,” says Dan Clark of Sitings Realty.

The New Look & Feel

NB Interior - 687

The new look encompasses a raw, industrial interior design concept that draws from the restaurant’s southeast Asian inspiration.  Long wooden communal tables, industrial light fixtures and seating, and concrete floors create a unique, modern vibe.  A new logo, website (noodlebox.net) and take out packaging have also made their debuts.

The menu has changed slightly, offering some new innovative menu items.  As always there are a variety of gluten-free dishes on the menu, and customizable spiciness from ‘Mild’ to ‘Scorching Hot.’
