Wesbrook is UBC’s 115-acre world-class sustainable neighbourhood, whose heart and soul is an urban Village featuring Save-On-Foods, a future 30,000 sf community centre, the MBA House, University Hill Secondary School (now open: 800 students, capacity for 1,000 students), a senior’s residence, restaurants, and shops and services designed for everyday needs.  The master planned community is designed to be pedestrian-friendly and provides access to beaches, parks, trails and all UBC amenities.

Wesbrook Village is the West Side’s newest gathering place.  The West Side trade area has a population of 40,000 with average household incomes exceeding $125,000 per year. The UBC campus has a daytime population of over 45,000 faculty, staff and students.

At buildout Wesbrook Village will house 12,500 residents in 6 million square feet of residential space.  Real estate developers including the Wall Group of Companies, Adera, Polygon Homes, and more are currently developing projects in the area.

With a projected  population of 12,500, Wesbrook has a current population of 3,700 which is projected to increase by 600 to 800 people each year.
