Strathmore, Alberta is located just 35 kilometres east of Calgary and is home to Pine Centre, a high-visibility strip centre anchored by a 40,000 sq. ft. No Frills grocery store.

Strategically located on Highway #1, a major East-West transportation route, Pine Centre is in close proximity to Calgary (15 minute drive time) and the International Airport (40 kilometres east). This high-visibility strip centre is located in Strathmore’s main shopping area. It also has direct access to connecting highways #9, #21, and #24.

Strathmore has experienced a doubling of population in the last 15 years. The area is booming with gas exploration activity and plans are in place for this to continue well into the future. The town’s economic base is diversified among oil and gas, agriculture and manufacturing activities.

Strathmore is one of the top 10 fastest growing mid-sized cities in Canada, according to Ozzie Jurock’s 2013 Real Estate Insider report.
